For those of you who have a way with words Vibewire is offering you a chance to Get Ahead This Summer. Don’t let those writing skills wither in the sun – check out Vibewire Portal and explore the possibilities of Vibewire’s Summer writing competitions. We have plenty of great prizes for all of those witty wordsmiths who are ready to get their creativity (and grammar) into gear!

Some of our Summer Writing Competitions give you the chance to:

• Drop in on Days Like This summer music festival!! Check out Songs, Sunshine and Your Story and slam together and submit some inspiring words for a chance to win tickets!  Deadline is 6pm, Friday the 2nd of January.

• Experience the ultimate contradiction by seeing a fusion of urban dance and rhythmic hip hop beats beneath the arcs of the Opera House! Give yourself a head start and write about something, anything, extreme…Nana on a unicycle? Scaling mountaineous peaks? Having both strawberry and chocolate topping on your icecream? Whatever flicks your switch. Send in your submission to see the Check out the comp Tom Tom Crew For You and submit your crazy words for a chance to win tickets! Deadline is also 6pm, Friday the 2nd of January.

Of course, we want to check out all of your writing pieces – articles, reviews, manuscripts; anything that may not fit the summer competition briefs.

So if you’re aged 30 or under and want to accelerate your writing career, get published this summer and send your words out to the world, firstly you have to send them to Vibewire.
