Tuesday 16th March 2010: 3rd Meeting with my mentor
I met with Matt for the third time today, at Badde Manors cafe in Glebe – a totally ace joint, complete with yummy food and wait-staff I can most accurately classify as ‘eye-candy’ (this adds a whole ‘nother level to my enthusiasm for our meetings).

Ideas amplifying my social issue of stigma connected to Schizophrenia. Pounding my brain for imaginative creativity that would show people what it is like for people to have a Mental illness. Welcome to my first blog. Sure it may be three weeks over due but hey, it’s here.
I’m really not sure what else to say so… Three weeks ago myself along with seven other wonderful individuals, started on the Vibewire multi-media road. The road began with a get to know each other and your mentor’s day. After which we went straight into the wide world of multi-media, in the hopes of being better able to adapt our own unique creations.

So I’ve finally gotten round to posting a blog for the Media Makers program.
Back in the day (senior highschool) I was crazy about creative writing. I was pretty keen on serious journalistic articles – I think this enthusiasm was driven by the 9/11 terrorists attacks, the war in iraq and the Cronulla Riots.
