Slowly, I become aware of the saccharine tones of her voice. Soft kisses to my cheeks and a nuzzle of my nose say goodbye. I roll over and close my eyes again.

This poem was written about a boy with whom I used to talk to until 2am just about life… until he met a girl that made him happy, and then he shut me out of his life completely.
